Error: Object reference not set to an object - 00519694
Hi
Support ticket: 00519694. Support have all the logs
1. There is this issue with Veeam taking a snapshot of a VM but then around 15 seconds later it removes snapshot as it fails to backup the VM
2. Pic below shows the error, not sure why there is an error in "Creating a Snapshot" because on other pic it shows that the Snapshot was created in vCenter but deleted some seconds later and also I can create snapshots manually
3. These VMs have snapshots on them created by the users themselves using Flexiant Cloud Orchestrator (sends script to vcenter to take snapshot) and all the failing VMs in the above pic have Flexiant created snapshots
4. But there are other VM with Flexiant snapshots on them that are backed up by Veeam fine
Any advise would be helpful
Regards
Petrit

Petrit, quick forum search results in several topics discussing this kind of error in very different cases. For example, one of them was addressed in v7 patch 1, so if you are running unpatched v7, it is worth to upgrade and continue working with support, they will be able to verify the particular reason of the error.

Thanks but I'm on 6.5 and the patch 1 for v7 refers to a failure on the replication job not backup
I did search the forums before posting but nothing useful. Might be same error code but not same issue

That's why debug logs review will be more efficient in this case.ThinkGrid wrote:Might be same error code but not same issue
