ESX 3.5 and data tx after initial seed

I understand that CBT is not available with this version but would like to know if all vm data gets transferred after the initial seed, or if Veeam determines the changes and transmits those instead of everything. Thanks

Veeam has proprietary change tracking algorithm too, so only changes are transmitted even if VMware CBT is not available. Thanks.
