Whenever I switch VM's to different ESX Servers (we only have 2), in the same cluster, that server fails to backup and I get the following error
Validating task
Can't process object **.
Object **not found.
** = Server Name
Any ideas? Thanks!

Re: ESX Switch/Backup Fails
Hi,
check your Backup-Job, what was the focus you used when adding the vm? single esx machine or virtual center? best way would be to remove the according vm´s and re-add them with focus to vc.
best regards,
Joerg

Re: ESX Switch/Backup Fails
Joerg is correct. To make Veeam Backup VMotion-aware, you need to add vCenter servers instead of individual hosts. Remove currently added hosts from the management tree, click Add Server in the main toolbar, add your vCenter server, and configure new jobs. You will not have this issue again. Thank you!
