ESXi licensed as target for replication

Hi,

The release notes say ESXi ( licensed, not free ) is not a supported target for replication. If we have vSphere, will this limitation go away with the next release of Veeam Backup and Replication 4.0? Is this ESXi target limitation still hold true on vSphere with the current 3.1 version of Veeam Backup ?

Hello, no - ESXi is not supported as backup or replication target neither in 3.1, nor in 4.0. But we are planning to add this feature in the near future.
