Post by albertwt »

Hi,

I frequently received this error message in my Veeam Backup & Replication 7.0.0.833 server:

Code: Select all

Log Name: System
Source: Ntfs
Date: 22/12/2014 1:55:17 PM
Event ID: 55
Task Category: (2)
Level: Error
Keywords: Classic
User: N/A
Computer: VeeamServer01.domain.com
Description:
The file system structure on the disk is corrupt and unusable. Please run the chkdsk utility on the volume System Reserved.
but when I look into the Disk management console, I cannot find it attached below?

is this because of the Veeam backup drive got error in it ?
if yes how to manually attach it and scan for the bad sectors ?

Hello, what is your support ticket ID for this issue (it's requested when you click New Topic)? Without the ticket number the topic will be removed by moderators eventually.

As to the error, when you typically get it? Is there any pattern or something? Is your backup server playing proxy and repository roles, as well?

Thanks.
