Exchange 2010 DAG Backup

Have recently deployed VBR v 5.0.1 and am having problems using Veeam VSS to backup two Exchange 2010 Mailbox servers participating in a DAG configuration. Everytime the job runs it causes the cluster service behind to DAG to fail and the databases are transferred to the node that is not being backed up.

I have tried to find documentatino regarding seting up the software for Exchange 2010 DAG, however the only thing I can find is that Exchange 2010 is supported. I have registered a case with support, which in my short experience in dealing with Veeam is painfully slow to respond so I am hoping that someone has run into this issue described above.
