Exchange 2013 set rights for exch db

Post by edocom »

hi, now we use Exchange 2013 sp1. and im not sure, how can i set de rights for Exchange Mailbox Database to make restores.
i found this by veeam:

Example 2
To be able to restore items to a mailbox, the account can be granted Full Access rights for that mailbox by running the following cmdlet:
Add-MailboxPermission –Identity “<target_mailbox>” -User “<user_account>” -AccessRights FullAccess –InheritanceType All
Here user_account is the account that owns a mailbox on target Exchange server.

hmm, how can i set this right on the database for the existing mailboxes an the futered, i dont will do the command 250 times!

Hello,

This TechNet post might help, please take a look > Grant FULL Access Permission on All mailboxes in a particular database in Exchange 2010 including future accounts

Reading through this article, I see that you need to set rights on the entire database that stores your user mailboxes.

Thank you!
