I would like to be able to use the new Exchange Explorer but I get the message that it requires a 64bit server (2008 or later).
My Veeam 6.5 is on a Win 2003 64 bit Server - what would anyone recommend - upgrade the server OS, or is there another way eg install Veeam on another server and have it connect in to to the existing database (is that even possible?)
Thanks
Adam

If you do this, you would have to decommission your existing Veeam backup server deployed on Windows Server 2003, cause two backup servers cannot use the same database at the same time. I would suggest upgrading your existing Windows Server to either Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2012 (if possible).adamT wrote:is there another way eg install Veeam on another server and have it connect in to to the existing database (is that even possible?)

You can also simply move your backup server to another machine with configuration backup/restore feature (new in 6.5).

Thanks for the replies. I think moving to another server is probably the way Ill go.
