Exchange Item Restore using Enterprise Manager
Hello,
we are currently planning a Groupwise Migration to Exchange Server 2016. We are backing up the DAG servers with VSS-aware sequential backup jobs and there are no job errors.
Today I was trying to recover a mail object. I can see the users, but i can't chose a restore point. By clicking on e username there is immediately shown an error message on the website: "Der Wert darf nicht NULL sein. Parametername: Exchange servers list param is empty". Please will you see the image thereunder.
Is this a known configuration error on our side or have I to open a support call for that?
Thank You!
Stefan

Re: Exchange Item Restore using Enterprise Manager
Hello,
we have exactly the same error situation with our Exchange DAG, Veeam and BEM... Restore via Veeam Explorer for Exchange works fine...
So... was the problem solved and what was the reason for not being able to select a restore point?
Thanks in advance, Kind regards...
Andreas

Best would be to contact support for help as there is no support case posted here which we can check for a potential solution. Thanks.

Re: Exchange Item Restore using Enterprise Manager
Hi Andreas,
the problem was easily solved: the sevice account in enterprise manager has to be put in the exchange group with "impersonation" rights.
case id is: 03721739
Nice week-end,
Stefan
