I have setup PoC of Veeam Community Edition, one of backup job for Exchange Mail Server in VMWare vsphere, I see the Backup size for Exchange Mail Server in this case keep increase 10GB gradually.
May I know if the compress mechanism is different between Community Edition and Paid Standard Edition?

Re: Exchange Mail Server in this case keep increase 10GB gradually
Hi Ken
The compress mechanism is the same for all editions.
Exchange server uses databases. And database files are always changing.
10GB doesn‘t sound to strange to me considering there are changes blocks in database files, db transaction log files, system log files and other cache files.
Thanks
Fabian

Other question, did you enabled Veeam Guest Processing to commit the transaction log with every backup?
