Exchange Mailbox Server Replication
We are looking into using Veeam to replicate our Exchange 2007 Mailbox server to our DR site but have a couple issues we were wondering the best way to handle them would be. First off the server is over 500Gb, what should we do to reduce replication times because we don't want snapshots staying on the server for too long. Second several of the drives are independent and we were wondering what the best practice would be on those drives.

Re: Exchange Mailbox Server Replication
Hello Dale,
You may want to do the following:
1. Perform initial replication over removable storage
2. Move VM files to a DR site
3. Continue replication jobs with Change Block Tracking enabled
As for Independent disks...those are automatically excluded from snapshotting, you need to change VM disks type to be able to replicate it.
Thank you!
