Hi,
I need an explanation about some wording related an Exchange object restore.
I had restored a mailbox Folder. It worked fine and the summary telled me e.g.
1200 Items skipped
100 Items successfully created
20 Items merged
What means "merged", what happend ?
Thanks !
Best regards
Volker

Re: Exchange Object restore
Hi Volker,
Basically, the existing version of item is merged with the one in backup, for example the attributes which differ from the ones in backup will be restored.
Thanks!

Re: Exchange Object restore
Hi Petr,
thanks. Which attributes do you mean ?
All restored Items were flaged als new. Is there a way to leave this Attribute as it was at Backuptime ?

Re: Exchange Object restore
Hello,
It works exactly as you ask, the state of the restored item fully matches its state in backup.
Thanks!
