Exclude VM and Exlcude from App VSS/Indexing not working and

Post by MattG »

In V6, I originally had a backup job that I excluded a VM from backup and from App/Indexing and it worked fine. I created a new job and now it ignores the excludes?

Also, I thought Veeam 6 was going to allow us to easily duplicate jobs so that we could create different instances of jobs with similar settings? I do not see this option.

Thanks,

Have you notified our support team about this problem as I do not recall any known issues related to this functionality.

Actually there is such option in v6, it is called "job cloning" and it is available in the Enterprise Manager web UI. This feature is only available with the Enterprise Edition of the product though. Thanks!

Thanks Anton! I knew I saw that listed as a V6 feature.
