Exported backup - Immutable or not?

If I export an immutable backup, using "Export backup", and put it on a hardened repo, will the exported backup be immutable as well?

Yes, exported backups will be made immutable.

And for how long? Is it for the same number of days as the retention of the hardened repo?

It depends. Automatic deletion period or hardened repository immutability period. What ever is longer:

--> automatic deletion for export not enabled: configured immutability period
--> export automatic deletion period lower than immutability period: configured immutability period
--> export automatic deletion period higher than immutability period: automatic deletion period

- Exported backup autodelete retention
- Hardened repo retention
