Hello fellow admins!
I have a full backup file which contains many VMs. I have a need to extract just one VM's backup (preferably in .vbk format) from this full backup which contains many VMs. I know I can copy the entire .vbk but given that it's a large file which contains many VMs, I would like to see if I can just extract one VM. Is this a possibility?

Re: Extracting a full backup file for one VM?
Hello Farshid,
That`s not possible as 1-step option because backup data is deduplicated with other VM`s backup.
The best way to achieve your goal is to restore VM from the desired restore point and backup (or Veeam ZIP) it.
Thanks!

If you want to extract the latest VM state, then, you might want to leverage backup copy job. Thanks.
