Failback to production extremely slow

Post by unsichtbarre »

Wow is failback slow! Today I failed-over two VMs to replicas ran for a couple of hours and selected Failback after PROD hours were complete. 5 hours and counting on Failback with the "Quick" option selected. I know deltas make a difference and so forth, however I could have easily seeded the VMs from DR back to PROD much quicker than the Failback process, and now I am sorry that I didn't.

10GB between DR and PROD
vSAN SSD Datastores
Proxies manually selected on failback
"Quick" option selected

Hello John

As i can see from the case notes, the failback was successful in the end.
