"Failed to get server fingerprint"

Post by Artaheri »

Hi, I recently updated our Veeam B&R install to the latest v11 build, and now two of our main Ubuntu Linux repositories are showing as "Out of Date" and "Unavailable."

If I try and refresh one in Managed Servers I get the error:

Code: Select all

Product components installed have older version (10.0.0.839) then the current product version (11.0.1.1261) and must be updated.
When I try and upgrade it shows the Transport as needing updating. When I apply it gives the error:

Code: Select all

Failed to invoke command /opt/veeam/transport/veeamtransport --get-fingerprint: Failed to get server fingerprint: there is no certificate at /opt/veeam/transport/certs/cert.p12
Has anybody come across this issue before? The only one I can find similar on the forum is someone who didn't have root permissions set for the Veeam account, but our permissions seem correct and everything was working prior to upgrade.

I have a case open with support, 02368762

Thanks for any help!

We need to see debug logs and potentially infrastructure to suggest something meaningful, so kindly continue working with the support team. Thanks!
