I tried to import a backup file (.vbk). It failed with error message " Unable to import backup:failed to parse the summary.xml due to a backup file corruption".
Is there other way to access the backup file and export the files.

Re: Failed to parse the summary.xml
Hello vincezs,
Based on the error the backup file was somehow corrupted, so cannot be imported for recovery. Do you have all the needed files (.vbk, .vib, .vbm) in place? Can you confirm that storage device does not have any hardware failures (scan disk / disk SMART stats)? Thanks!

Re: Failed to parse the summary.xml
It is a full back. There is no vib file in the storage folder. I rember the backup was finished successfully. When I did second full back up recently the vbm file was overridden by the new information which shows that the second backup was failed. The first backup file was stored on a NAS with RID5. All the disks are healthy. I even tried to copy the vbk file to another location an tired the import and get same error message.
