I noticed that the FastSCP product was merged into Veeam Backup Free Edition and from what I can tell the functionality is there in the pay version as well. I currently use the standalone product (which now seems to be phased out) to copy files from my VMware vSphere Hypervisor hosts (free version). My question is whether the integrated version is updated from version 3.0.3? Also to plead that you continue the standalone version as it is sooooooo much more convenient to use for quick file copies of larger files without having to install a whole backup suite.
Thanks!

Re: FastSCP Questions
Hi Eli,
FastSCP cannot be updated to Veeam Backup Free, it should be a clean install. By the way, if you install Veeam Backup Free you will also get a free tool to perform ad-hoc backups of the production VMs.
Thanks!
