Feature Request - Add date/time to snapshot description

Would it be possible for when Veeam creates a snapshot during a backup in vCenter to have it put a date/time in the description of the snapshot. This would be more helpful than just: "VEEAM BACKUP TEMPORARY SNAPSHOT: Please do not delete this snapshot. It is being used by Veeam Backup."

There have been situations where Veeam snapshots have been abandoned. It would be useful to be able to know if it is old backup snapshot or not.

Patrick, just one tip - if you have Veeam ONE installed in your infrastructure, then try to monitor orphaned VM backup snapshot alarm. It was built exactly for the use case you've described above.

Thanks for the note about Veeam One. I only have that in one environment, unfortunately not in all environments.

+1 to this, even though Veeam ONE is an option, it shouldn't need to be for something so simple as knowing when a snapshot was created. Of course it's also a fair argument to say VMWare should be exposing this information too, since it obviously knows when the snapshot was created

Snapshot creation time is shown in the vSphere web client (at least current versions), but I don't think it's displayed in the fat client.
