Hypervisor-level snapshots are often opened as a precaution on VM's prior to making changes. These obviously need to be deleted reasonably quickly for performance/capacity reasons, but sometimes I'd like to get a backup of that snapshot point before deleting it.
Could we have a feature to make a backup of a specific / existing VM snapshot point?

Re: Feature Request: Backup specific/existing snapshot
A different suggestion I can give you, whenever you need a point in time of a VM before applying some changes, instead of relying on snapshots that risk to stay open for days/weeks/months with all the known risks, you can use quick backup in Veeam:

Same result, and no snapshot in between.

You can use File Copy jobs to do that today or run these tests in the On-demand sandbox. Second option will allow you to test any changes before applying them to production environment.
