*Feature Request* - Built In deployment for hot fixes
Hi,
An option that I think might help larger environments would be the ability to deploy hotfixes from the B&R server.
Sometimes I am provided new agents for proxies and repositories, I have quite a number to update and it becomes quite a laborious task.
Now when there is an upgrade it automatically pushes it out, so the mechanics are already in place it would just need some changes in order to allow you to upload a fix and push it out?

Hot fixes are provided via support, these are not public and are as you stated taken into updates later on. Putting this 'feature' in the interface would only confuse people as they get fixes for things not related to them where in an update additional things may be added for them, irrelevant to the specific hot fix.

No you miss understand.
Support would send me a hot fix. I would then upload to my B&R server and use the "tool" to deploy it to my servers. Rather than having to log on to 20 plus servers and install it!

Why would you need to deploy it on the 20 servers? If it is a hotfix it is normally ment for a specific issue which I doubt u'll have it on those 20+ servers at the same time...

Current issue is with an agent on Several proxies, once tested the agent needs to be pushed to the rest of the environment.
This is not the first time I have had to perform this action.

Re: *Feature Request* - Built In deployment for hot fixes
Hot fixes get typically created for specific issue, so we don't consider it to be a common practice. Therefore, chances to see the tool for central hot fix management are not that high.
However, since hot fix is usually nothing but an updated dll file, you can create a PowerShell script that will stop Veeam-related services on a given machine, replace the dll file and re-enable services back.
Thanks.
