Feature Request: Cancel VM Backup

I have seen recently a number of cases of a single VM backup locking up resources and not properly releasing them (Case 00828624). The feature I am requesting is the ability to cancel a job for a single VM that may be hung so that the backup repository and backup proxy resources can be released for other virtual machines to continue.

Perhaps we need to introduce some no-activity timeout instead, as no one is there during the night to monitor those daily backups and cancel processing when it hangs. Another priority, of course, is to make sure such hangs do not happen by closely investigating issues like yours.
