Feature Request - Capacity Planning

Hello All,

If there is a tool/report which measure concurrent running task (not jobs) daily/hourly and show us which proxies & repositories use it, it will be very useful for infrastructure & capacity planning.

You may take a look at RTS log which contains resource usage history: C:\ProgramData\Veeam\Backup\RTS.ResourcesUsage.log

Thank you for this useful information. I am happy to see that.I will import this information to excel create reports

If we can see / watch live Veeam One or VBR, Would not it be nice? Veeam can create many different repots with this informations. Peak times, max/min used repository in a spesific time, daily concurrent tasks for proxies etc...

By the way, there is VM proxy server dashboard in Veeam ONE, might be also very helpful.

In order to get better estimations for capacity planning in future, you can refer to this article which contains useful suggestions for proxy sizing.

I would also recommend taking a look at the proxy/reporisoty task usage heatmap in our predefined web-based dashboard in Veeam ONE > Heatmap Dashboard
