Feature Request: Copy a Virtual Lab

Post by yasuda »

Apologies if this has already been done in B&R 8 or 9

In response to support case How to copy a virtual lab - Case # 01309594 [ ref:_00D30RWR._50032wnEQe:ref ] I was advised that there is not a way to copy a virtual lab from one host to another, and that the way to copy setting is to screen shot the existing lab's properties.

So my request is: Either make it so virtual labs can be copied from one host to another, or at least store the settings in a text config file so that it is easy to duplicate from scratch.

Haven't tried that personally, but what about migrating a Virtual Lab to a new host with the use of either vMotion or Quick Migration, and connecting lab to a backup console afterwards? Thanks.
