Hi,
please correct me if I am wrong, but I have not found any option to automatically delete old restore points when the disk repository is near or at max capacity. Even crappy synology time backup has this. I think Veeam BR should have it, too.
Best,
Tim

Re: Feature Request: delete restore points as needed
Hi Tim,
What if the size of your backup unpredictably grows over all limits thus triggering the deletion of something what you may need...
There is an option to set up an email notification when the disk space goes lower than "X". Does it fit your needs?
Thank you.
UPDATE:
Also you might want to review your retention policy, I guess. If not, then you might want to use pre- and post- job scripts, please see "Storage - Advanced - Advanced" folder of your Backup Job settings.

Re: Feature Request: delete restore points as needed
well, this would not be very automatic then..
But I understand your point - and this could actually happen in our scenario, so maybe I dont want this anymore
Best
