Feature request: exclude Oracle database from processing
Please implement a feature to exclude specific Oracle databases from Veeam (Application-Aware Image) processing. (similar to SQL Database Exclusion, https://www.veeam.com/kb2110)

Hi Joeri, we're looking into adding exclusions of specific Oracle databases in the future. Meanwhile, you can ask support for some registry values that allow achieving that (though, as far as I'm aware, this functionality was not thoroughly tested and is not fully supported).

Re: Feature request: exclude Oracle database from processing
I am not finding that there is a feature yet to exclude a specific Oracle database from backups with Application Awareness. Any progress on this request from 2017?

Re: Feature request: exclude Oracle database from processing
Hi Tim,
Today, you can disable Oracle processing in the image-level job and leverage Veeam Plug-in for Oracle RMAN to perform backups only of the specific databases. Also, you will be able to create RMAN backup policies in the version 12 to orchestrate database backups from Veeam Backup & Replication. A policy works at "per-database" level and will allow you to protect individual databases.
Thanks!
