Hi,
I love the new file exclusion feature in Veeam 9. This really cut's our backup sizes. It would be really nice to configure a global or per job file exclusion setting.
Now we need to configure this per VM (180). I know we can select all vm's at once and configure this. But we have a lot of mutations in the backup and this not always done correctly.
Kind regards,

Re: Feature request: File Exclusion Per Job or Global
Hi Patrick and welcome to the community!
Thanks!
That is per job file exclusion. Would you like it to be changed somehow?phouten wrote:I know we can select all vm's at once and configure this.

Re: Feature request: File Exclusion Per Job or Global
Hi Shestakov,
I would be nice to configure the exclusions at higher level and not per VM. You can select all the vm's and configure the exclusion but if there are VM's added to the job you need to configure the exclusions separately for that vm or reconfigure it for all vm's.
Like the option "Exclude Swap File File Blocks" that is configured for the whole. I like would like to see exclude *.ISO, *.TMP, C:\TMP etc...for the whole job and make a finer granularity in the per VM setting.
Greetings!
