Feature Request - MFA support for NAS device backup repositories

I have a feature request to add capabilty to connect to Synology NAS devices with MFA to add them as backup repositories.

Hi Kyle, Welcome to the forum

Is there a MFA solution for SMB or CIFS protocols? I'm not aware of any possibility. Please share if you know one. Would be happy to learn more about it.
For the Admin GUI MFA: Veeam does never connect to the Synology Admin GUI.

My recommendation:
Synology NAS should be used with iSCSI and not with NFS or CIFS.
It will give you a better stability and of course FAST Cloning.
