Feature Request: more ways to search through History

Hi,

I'm new, I couldn't see if this has been requested before. This would be useful to me:

Within the VBR console: History > Jobs > Backup, etc.
The search field doesn't seem to let you filter on a partial match or use wildcards. It would be nice to be able to do this and see all "synthetic full", etc or partial "job name" jobs.

Hi,

Search box should filter on partial job name by default, but you are correct does not work for (synthetic full) etc. that are appended to original job name.
For workaround you could use simple PS command Get-VBRBackupSession -name *Synthetic*

Anyways it would be nice to have some new features to history GUI, new columns (like session duration) and better search and sorting.

Hi Mikko, yes that's the issue. It would be handy to filter on the appended part as we have some similarly named jobs. Thank you for the workaround suggestion, I've been using the old PSSnapin recently for restore validation. I'm very much looking forward to there being a new module!
