Hi All,
Would like to have the feature request to authenticate a VBR on Enterprise Manger different then username/password.
No this is first needed and then it can happen op certificate level.
We have for example one of our VBR serves in an NON domain trust environment and out Enterprise manger in a different domain.
There is now no way to authenticate our VBR to Enterprise manager. This days sort of situation are happening more and more.
An different way of authentication for example with secret keys and certificates would be useful.
Does anyone experience the same?
Thanks,
Benny

Re: Feature Request no psw/user authentication between VBR and EM
EM to VBR communication is certificate based. Enterprise Manager only needs the username/password to VBR to configure the certificate based auth. Though I have not tested it yet, to be sure, I believe that non-domain VBR can be connected to domain joined EM using username & password, you just have to provide the local credentials to VBR using vbrserverhostname\username format.
