For some of my customers, the backup environment is isolated from the internet as much as possible, and the individual backup components are not allowed to communicate directly with the internet. However, they are allowed to download updates via a mirror server and make them available internally.
This means that Threat Hunter cannot download the latest patterns.
We need a way to mirror the Threat Hunter patterns locally and then distribute them to the mount servers/fetch them from the mirror server.
What could a possible solution look like?

Re: Feature Request - Option to mirror Threat Hunter pattern
Hi Peter,
It’s currently not planned to provide a mirrored repository for Threat Hunter updates.
At this time, configuring an Internet proxy server is the only available option.
You can use the following registry key to specify a dedicated proxy server just for the Threat Hunter service.
The registry key should be configured on the Mount Server.
Best regards,
Fabian
