Dear Veeam Developers,
It would be productive to have the ability to start a backup retry per individual host instead of per job. This would enable us to make better use of the time and capacity available.
Currently we see that when some systems in the job take a long time to complete these hold up the retry attempts. We can of course set a backup window, one that ends on 07:00 for example, but doing so means that we won't do the planned amount of retries. This can result in missing the RPO even though we would have been able to make an backup.
See for instance the example below with a job with 5 systems.

We can of course split the job into smaller jobs and place hosts in a job with similar hosts. However due to the number of hosts we need to protect this would add a lot of manual work in both setup and maintenance.
Would it be possible to add this as an option for backup jobs?
Kind regards,
Marijn
