The firewall on our repository server mistakenly got "reset" and Veeam backups stopped working. To fix this, I had to manually recreate firewall rules that were initially created automatically when we added the repository server to our Veeam B&R console.
It would be great if there was a way to right click the repository, or other external infrastructure server, and choose to recreate firewall rules to allow Veeam B&R to properly communicate with said server.

Re: Feature Request - Push Firewall Ports from Veeam to Infrastructure Server
Hi Trevor and Welcome to our R&D Forums,
It's an interesting request but I'm not sure that it fully matches the role of backup application. Basically, it's rather the purpose of administrator to decide on firewall rules, moreover you can manage firewall rules with PowerShell, for instance a couple of interesting ideas are shown in this article. Also, you may find all necessary details related to the required ports on our help center. Anyway, thank you so much for the feedback! We can consider it for future releases as long as we have enough similar requests for this functionality.
Thanks!
