Feature request - quick backup added to backup operator role

Could quick backup be added to the backup operator role?

I would like users to be able to execute their own ad-hoc backup.

Sure, actually this would be a bug if it they cannot do it today. By the way, did you know you can enable users to do Quick Backup directly in vSphere Web Client? Thanks!

Hello,

There is a nice feature in VEEAM 9.5 which enables portal users and administrators to make a Quickbackup in the Portal.
Is there a way to get this button, work for the "backup operators" role? The button shows up for the backup operators but gives an acces denied.

Or is there a possibility to hide some Enterprise Portal tabs for the "portal users" role?

Hi Rob, do you probably mean the Restore Operator role in EM, right? Then it is expected that this functionality is not available for it.

No my issue was that backup operator could not run quick backup from vbr console.
