Feature Request - SQL Transaction log backup schedule

first post on the forums!

we would like a feature to be able to schedule at what times the SQL transaction log backup runs, such as with the normal Backup schedule feature.
This to be able to steer the active hours when SQL transactions are backed up.

An example;
Customer wants to perform backups during nighttime 22-05, and have transaction log backups taken hourly between 08-17 (work hours).
As of now this is not possible, backups will be taken when scheduled and run in the allowed scheduled hours but the child job transaction log backups will run every hour of the day.

Hi Ted, can you clarify what is the problem with log backups taken outside work hours? If nothing going during these times, they will be tiny anyway. Thanks!

Hi Gostev,

the problem is mostly to comply with customer demands that backups and access to systems are only allowed to be performed during the hours specified.
Surely it's more of a nuiscance than a problem with log backups being taken outside work hours, but it would be nice to be able to configure when Veeam and it's subtasks is allowed to perform its operations and not. So it's more of a conformance problem with customer demands.
Since we have the Backup Window schedule and SOBR allowed use time it would be neat to also be able to control this.
