Feature Request - Storage snapshot for multiple datastores

We currently run Veeam 8 with HP 3PAR integration. We have several VM's that have multiple vmdk's on different datastores. When restoring from storage snapshot, the only vmdk's that will mount will be the ones in the same datastore as the VM config file.

We would like to see that restoring storage snapshots be able to access all vmdk's in all datastores.

I know about the limitation in v8. Is this a limitation on Veeam's side or the storage side?

This is a Veeam limitation. There's currently no logic for locating all VM disks that reside on other datastores and their corresponding storage snapshots (beside the fact that the snapshots should be created simultaneously).

Hi David, v10a is able to restore all VM disks in such cases. Please review the list of limitations to check if anything applies to your particular case, like, for example, snapshots created on the earlier Veeam B&R version. Thanks!
