We have a work group that has a few VMs on our PCI subnet. Since they are in that PCI subnet they deny all access to the C$ admin share via a reg key. There are a few boxes that a running AD\AM and SQL. I can't run the Veeam VSS against these boxes since I can't access the C$ share and our security admin doesn't want to allow access to the C$ and block with a firewall.
It would be helpful if I could configure a backup job to access another share (C_$, etc.) other than C$.
Thanks,

Re: Feature Request -- ?
Hello Joe, thank you for your feedback. We are addressing this in the next release, even a bit more elegantly than you suggest but I cannot share technical details at the moment (new technology).
