Feature Request

Post by mike071581 »

My apologies if this is the wrong forum but didn't see a specific feature request section. I just got off the phone with tech support about and issue with the VeeamVixProxy logs and how they don't delete themselves when the VM is in a DMZ. I was told this is by design and no way to change that. I would like to request an option to have these automatically removed just like the VeeamVssSupport logs. In my case, the proxy logs were over 7 GB going and over 1.5 years old and filling up drive space.

Hi, Mike. What is the support case number? This looks like a bug to me. At least, it seems very strange to overfill file system with log files until the disk space runs out "by design" ;)

Aren't you using v7 by any chance? Because there used to be problems related to the way the said logs were handled previously, most of them should be fixed in the version 8. Thanks.

Why not to update to the latest product version that has fixes for those problems? Thanks.
