Feature request: uniform versioning of related components

Post by joachimeberhard »

Dear Veeam team,

would it be possible to have a uniform versioning accross related Veeam products?

For example for Veeam B&R V12 also raise the version of Veeam Agent to V12?

This way we would not even need documentation to know which Agent corresponds to which server version.

Obvious and easy I think.

Thanks for reading,

Joachim

Hi Joachim,

I really doubt that it would be easy and you always have an option to refer to our help center to get more information regrading products compatibility, for example this page.

Thanks!

This page gives you also a good overview which vbr version is supported with which agent version:

It was just an idea.

Of course I am not wise enough to understand why you do what, but I have this weakness for consistency, and I thought I'd try to suggest it. :)
