Hi,
I would like to have Veeam locking the restore point specified when the restore is running so that the tlog point cannot be deleted while it is running.
What happened was that a big DB was restored and took a long while, depending that the DB was very big.
But when the restore was done and replay of tlog was happening the tlog just some minutes earlier got deleted so the replay was canceled and restore failed.
Yea I know that you should keep tlog point longer then.
But still, I think it is wrong that Veeam doesn't allocate the needing restore points when the restore is tasked to start.
Best regards!

Re: Feature request: Veeam locking SQL tlog restore point when restore is running.
Thanks, Victor. In your case logs were deleted according to retention and seems you have retention configured in days, not image-level backup-based - in this case logs backup wouldn't have been deleted. Unlike the parent backup itself, currently, there's no separate mechanism to lock logs backup while the restore is running.
