Feature Request - View exclusion list

Post by TitaniumCoder477 »

I just discovered the "View" feature and was very excited to use it for a client whose backups we co-manage. But unfortunately, I need exclusions list capability. For example, it's nice to have "Job name includes" but I also need "Job name does not include". Or, even better: "Job name matches regex" which would cover both and provide a lot more power. So two items for this feature request:
1. "Job name does not include"
2. Job name matches regex"

Hello,
good to hear, we have that feature since some years :-)

It's a valid request and we count it (but you are the only one right now who asked for it as far as I see) đź‘Ť

Best regards,
Hannes

Yeah, I totally understand that Views are probably used in edge cases such as very large deployments where multiple views eases management or, such as in my case, the backups are co-managed with different persons having responsibility.

Out of curiosity, are Views globally available or per user. For example, when the client logons to the backup server using his local admin account and accesses Veeam, would he see Views that I created under our own local admin account?
