Feature suggestion: Validation jobs

It would be useful if validation was something we could schedule in the B&R itself... like a separate validation job. It has its use cases.
There is a command line tool, but having this integrated in the main GUI would be nice. With reporting on success/warning/fail like for other jobs.

This way I could schedule validation of certain backup chains to happen at time when it's most appropriate considering production hours and servers load.

We have this already in the product.
Sure Backup Jobs can validate VM and Agent backups. You can test backups of those machines:
- can be they be powered on
- does the protected application work
- custom verification scripts
- malware scanning
- backup file integrity scans (similar to our validator)

Besides our SureBackup Jobs, you can enable health checks in almost all job types to check the integrity of your backup files on a regular interval.
