Dear Team,
regarding Case # 05654753:
if msExchRecipientTypeDetails is set in AD-User Attribute Editor:
AD User Restore (AD Explorer) will fail regarding an Warning, so we have to use "Compare Attributes" // it's working, but this isn't useable in case of mass restore!
Option A: please provide "do it anyway" Option in AD Explorer (for skipping / commiting the warning)
Option B: if "A" isn't possible ... please provide possibility for selecting more then one User in "Compare"
Please keep us posted regarding the feature request, the actual state of it...
Best,
Mike

Re: FeatureRequest - ignore/commit changes when mass restoring AD attributes
Hi Mike
Thanks for posting the case number. I also found the request in our internal system.
The request is noted for improvement for a future version, but no ETA yet.
As a workaround, could you use PowerShell to empty that value before doing the restore for these users? The restore writes back the value from the backup. A simple PowerShell script to write $NULL to that value is much simpler than using compare for each user.
Thanks
Fabian
