File Copy only copying one file at a time?

Post by spiritie »

Hi Veeam Forums

I don't know if I remember correctly, but I believe that using the File Copy jobs that it was able to copy multiple files at a time?
Or am I remembering incorrectly? I'd hope to leverage writing multiple files at the same time for some performance gains.

I've tried changing the source from looking at the folder to adding all of my files instead, same result, only 1 file is copied at a time.

I'm trying to move files between SOBR extents, and it's super slow.

I can't find anything in the Helpcenter regarding the topic, I'd assume that Veeam would just use the repository concurrent task limit?

Currently running v11.

Hi Gert,

Why not use evacuate? Or you only need specific backups moved? If so, then I guess Evacuate won't help, and likely it's best to use a more robust tool like rsync or robocopy.
