file level backup of VM - newbie question
Hi, I have a hyper-V host, with a single VM. The VM image is circa 3.5TB, and too large for my USB backup device. Is there anyway to select which parts of the VM's filesystem to backup. I'm guessing not but just wanted to make sure...

Re: file level backup of VM - newbie question
Hello Ben,
Unfortunately, it’s impossible. But as a workaround, it is possible to exclude the said VM’s disk in the backup jobs settings (Virtual Machine > Exclusions > Disks)

Thank you, it's as I thought. Time to buy some portable 4TB USB drives...
