File level restore and special char in file name
Hi all,
I've got a problem restoring a file with a special char in its name, case #04397877
Support says me that the error is due to a windows limitation, that's not the response I would like to hear but ok.
Anyway, support won't answer me to a question that I've asked at least 2 or 3 times. I understood the windows limitation, but the process shouldn't stop without restoring anything from the folder (there's just one file with error, you must restore the others!)
Any hint on this?
Thanks

Re: File level restore and special char in file name
Hello,
Thanks for the feedback provided! We will review the support case and think about possible improvements in one of our future releases.
I'll update the thread if I have some news regarding this request.
Thanks!

To be complete, the "keep" function can restore all files (excluding ones with the special char), "copy to" doesn't work
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: File level restore and special char in file name
Hello,
Thanks!
We have reviewed the support case and I can confirm that this behavior will be improved in our next release: the files having special characters in file name will be simply skipped from processing. Thanks again for pointing out the problem!KeiichiKun wrote:but the process shouldn't stop without restoring anything from the folder
