New to Veeam Backup, but so far, I love the functionality. Restoring Windows files so far in my test environment has been a breeze. Now on to my difficulty.
I launch the File Level Restore wizard, and get my device listing for my Linux VM. I can copy the file off I want to restore, but then what? What is the best way to get the restored file back on the Linux VM? Is there a way to do it via the VMWare Player machine that launches with the File Level Restore wizard? Should I just save the file locally and use FTP or SSH to drop it back on the Linux VM? Any suggestions or guidelines would be appreciated. Thaks.

Re: File level restore to Linux system
Hello Pete, since Veeam Backup has built-in file management (aka FastSCP), you need to simply add the required Linux VM to Veeam Backup interface via Add Server wizard, and then just copy the restored file from Veeam Backup console ("My Computer" node) to that Linux server using drag&drop or copy&paste in Veeam Backup Servers tree. Hope this helps!
