Hi All,
One of our servers has a volume encrypted by Bitlocker and I am unable to use file level restore on it.
At the moment I have to do a instant recovery get into Windows and copy the file out.
Is there a way for Veeam to prompt for Bitlocker key from the file level restore wizard?

Re: File Level Restore of Bitlocker volume
I'd say this depends on how you backed it up. For the encrypted volume you might be better selecting 'File Level Backup' as your 'Backup Mode'. That's instead of backing up a volume image.
With a file level backup there will be individual files accessible during restore. You could then encrypt that backup (if you aren't encrypting them all anyway?) to replace the bit-locker encryption so it stays encrypted on the backup as well as the source.

Re: File Level Restore of Bitlocker volume
In short, it's not possible currently. Here's another post on this topic veeam-backup-replication-f2/vbr-9-5-and ... 45444.html
It would be a nice feature, though, to prompt for the recovery key when opening the disk in Veeam File Explorer.
