First Full backup not marked as Monthly
I have a vm in a job that it's first Full backup should be marked as a monthly but it is not. I think it's that way because it did not happen on the set day of the month that the job thinks it should use to mark as monthly. The backup for July is however marked with the 'M' but the June backup has no retention mark. I can not lose this June full backup because it means my client would be without a backup for that month. Any idea how this could be fixed? I've opened a case with Support as well but thought I'd ask here too.

Re: First Full backup not marked as Monthly
Hello,
you could for example export the backup files from June: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=110
With XFS / REFS it doesn't even cost you disk space, because it's a synthetic full.
Best regards,
Hannes
PS: looks like you sent an email to support (which resulted in an auto-responder that asks to open cases via the support portal). That means support will not answer (which is okay because support is for technical issues and not for how-to-questions)

Re: First Full backup not marked as Monthly
Thanks for the reply @HannesK but I don't want to lose the backup in the chain. My assumption is that if I do the export and then edit the job so that it reduces the restore points, it will still delete that June backup. Yes, I'll have that June backup in an export that I could import but then it won't have retention on it. Does this sound right?

Almost, as you can actually set a retention to exported restore point. Thanks!
